Florida Realtors May Now Create, Manage, Share and Store Form Simplicity Transactions on Mobile Devices

Orlando, Fla., January 24, 2013 – With Form Simplicity’s newly upgraded HTML platform, Florida Realtors are now able to edit and manage forms on mobile devices. Form Simplicity, a web-based transaction solution program, is a Florida Realtors’ member benefit.

Please read the Questions and Answers below regarding Form Simplicity’s new platform.

What has changed?
The main improvement in this version is that forms labeled with a “Mobile” icon can now be edited on mobile devices, including iPads and smartphones, via the new HTML editor in Form Simplicity.

Which forms may I edit on my mobile device?
All Florida state forms are currently available in the HTML format. HTML editable forms are identified in the library by the “Mobile” Icon. Forms marked as “Mobile” may be edited on mobile devices.

Why is there a new appearance?
Since the HTML version is now optimized for mobile devices, forms viewed from your desktop or laptop will have a new appearance. For example, there are no longer line numbers and there are visible differences with the font and layout. However, when emailed, eSigned or faxed, the form has the same appearance you are accustomed to in the previous version.

Why are there now two tabs?
You have two viewing options. On most devices, you will notice the HTML Editor tab’s screen shows the HTML version, which allows you to edit on mobile devices, and the PDF Editor version, which shows the classic PDF view. The PDF Editor tab acts as an editor on desktop/laptop computers, as it always has, and it will act as a preview only on iPads and iPhones by showing you a preview of how a final printed form would look like. If you are an Android user, please note, the PDF tab is not currently available on Android devices.

I have an active transaction, what should I do?
One important item to note is that form-specific data will not be copied from an old version of the form to the new HTML version, if you use the new forms in an existing transaction. Any data from the “Content” tab of the transaction will appear on the form, but the rest of the fields will have to be re-entered. Unfortunately, this could not be avoided in order to move to a mobile environment. Please note that the previous version of the form is still available to use; however, it’s just not editable on a mobile device.

May I use my eSign on mobile devices, including the iPad?
Yes!! For Ultimate users, you now have the capability to use eSign on your mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones and Android devices. eSign may be used on any pre-programmed form that is templatized for eSign within your Form Simplicity library. All Florida Realtor® forms are templatized for eSign. Go here, to become an Ultimate user and get unlimited eSign.

Should I update my packages with mobile forms?
If any of the forms saved within your Form Packages has the new mobile-compatible version available in the library, a notification message will be displayed at the top of Form Simplicity.

1. This message will be displayed throughout Form Simplicity if any of your form packages contains one or more forms that have a mobile version available in the library.

2. Visit the Form Packages page and click the UPDATE PACKAGE FOR MOBILE button (This will show you which forms will be replaced).

3. Click the UPDATE button to automatically remove the original form and replace it with the mobile-compatible version.

And that’s it! The listed forms will be automatically replaced with the mobile-compatible version.

Please note that any of the data saved on the original form that you would not find on the content page will not be carried over to the new, mobile version. While there may be a few methods to copy this data over to the new mobile version, including just manually re-entering the data, we recommend the following steps in order to make this transition as easy as possible.

1. Right-click on the package you wish to update, and choose ‘Open Link in New Window’

2. Once the package is open in the new window, click on the form that you are going to copy the data from

HINT: Once the new window opens, it may be best to resize both windows on your screen so they are either side-by-side or stacked. This will allow you to see both windows simultaneously and make copying the data easier. You can right-click on the Windows taskbar and choose one of the two options (Side by Side or Stacked) to automate the resize process.

3. Select the data that you wish to copy over, right-click, and choose Copy.

4. Switch to the original browser window and open the newly added mobile form.

5. Locate and click in the field you wish to paste the data in, right-click, and choose paste.

6. Continue to follow Steps 7-10 to copy all of the data that did not automatically transfer to the new form.

New Sharing Feature Now Available in Form Simplicity

This new feature is an alternate method to emailing and faxing forms and files to non-Form Simplicity users. Form Simplicity Ultimate users have unlimited access to the new sharing feature.

“Our new sharing feature was created so that Form Simplicity users could have yet another paperless method in our program to execute transactions quickly and efficiently,” said Joe Ballarino, President & COO of Form Simplicity. “The sharing feature can change the way agents and brokers work. New Jersey Association of REALTORS® Expands Relationship with Form Simplicity

ORLANDO, Fla. – October 1, 2012 — The New Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NJAR®) has signed a multi-year agreement to provide Form Simplicity Professional Edition as a free member benefit to its more than 42,000 members.

“One of our Association’s biggest priorities is to offer our members services and products that help them excel in their business practices,” said NJAR® CEO Jarrod C.
